Welcome to the Rest Stop! If you decide to join us for worship on any particular Sunday you will discover about 125 people of all ages and backgrounds who mostly live in the Robles Junction/Three Points community west of Tucson. The place we worship is one of the greatest gifts we have – a rammed earth building used by us and others in the community. Built in the Santa Fe style in 1988, we are glad to offer a place of peace and rest for the weary, a place of hope and encouragement for those who are broken or sad, and a place of challenge for those who want to know more about following Jesus.
Why not come and visit us? Living in the Robles Junction/Three Points community can be an isolated existence. If you are intrigued about being with people who will care for you without trying to intrude in your lives except with the Good News of Jesus, if you want something that smells like fresh baked bread in your experience with God and others, give us a chance! Our commitment is to invite you into family and community that allows you to be who God has designed you – no pressure to dress a certain way, become who we want you to be or convince you to give us your money! In fact, if you are short some week, we often invite you to help yourself to some of the cash in the offering plate until things are better!
Our Church Buildings
We have three buildings used by the church family. The central, and largest, building is where we worship together, meet for prayer and to study together, and where the church ministry offices are located. Others meet here – 4-H groups, Three Points Community Festival Team, and voting precincts. Stop in any time just to be quiet and pray, if you want!
The East building was our original place to gather. Now it houses part of our children’s ministry, the crisis food closet, and is used by AA groups on Wednesday night and Sunday afternoon.
The West building has become the area of our older children’s ministry as well as being used on Sunday mornings for Adult Bible Fellowship.
If you think you might need to use some of our space for a meeting, a wedding, or memorial service, please, contact us. 822-2026. We’ll do our best to make it available to you!
